Fuel Consumption when Mudik Flow in Central Java Toll Increases to 200%

Asean-power.com, Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) noted a significant increase in fuel oil consumption on the Trans Java toll road, especially in Central Java. Even an average increase of more than 100% compared to normal days.

According to the General Manager of PT Pertamina (Persero) Marketing Operation Region IV Central Java-DIY, Iin Febrian explained that backflow recorded an increase of 200% consumption on H + 4 Lebaran or Sunday (9/6) at regular gas stations in tolls such as in KM 389B Batang and KM 260B, Tegal Regency.

“The consumption of gasoline type gasoline in some regular gas stations such as in the KM 389B and KM 260B area rises to above 200 percent at the peak of the backflow that occurs at H + 4,” said Iin on the Halal Bihalal in Semarang.
Increased consumption at the Pertamina Siaga kiosk on the Trans Java toll road in Central Java also increased. The average increase is more than 100%.

“The highest increase occurred at the Pertamina Siaga KM 282B kiosk when the H + 5 backflow was yesterday, which was 135 percent from the normal daily average of 14 Kiloliters (KL) to 33 KL,” he said.

He explained that the peak of backflow occurred at H + 4 Lebaran and the highest increase occurred in the type of Pertamax Turbo which reached 122%. While in general gasoline products increased 63 percent from daily consumption.
